Even if people around you tell that you have good teeth, it is still imperative to take care of your teeth and oral care on a day to day basis. It is crucial to replace your toothbrush every three months to ensure optimal cleaning effectiveness. Regular visits to the dentist for cleanings and check-ups are essential for early detection of any potential issues. Limit sugary and acidic foods and drinks to prevent tooth decay. Finally, consider using mouthwash to kill bacteria and freshen breath to complete your oral care regimen.

1. Brush your teeth twice a day

5. Flossing is just as necessary as brushing
Many of us do not believe in flossing or we forget to floss. Flossing isn’t just for removing food particles or vegetables that have become trapped between your teeth. It’s a technique for stimulating the gums, removing plaque, and decrease inflammation in the region.

6. Don’t allow flossing challenges keep you from flossing
As children or elders, flossing can be very tough due to the age factor or due to health factor respectively. If the term flossing confuses you or you do not know how it works, so, rather than giving up take help from doctors who can train you to floss every day. Dental flossers are available readily at pharmacy stores too for the right use.

7. Mouthwash is an option
Mouthwash is the next solution after floss to fight against all the bacteria’s in the healthy mouth. Mouthwash, works effectively in three ways: It lowers acid levels inside the healthy mouth, cleans hard-to-reach places all around the gums, and demineralizes teeth.

Your daily routines have a significant role in your general oral health. Even the most diligent flossers should visit the dentist on a regular basis. Check-up with your dentist is a must. A visit to your dentist at least twice a year is highly recommended. A dentist can not only remove cavities, but they can also detect possible problems and provide treatment options.
