About the Position:

The Area business manager is responsible for maintaining and increasing sales of company’s products. Reaching the targets and goals set for the area. Developing sales strategies and setting targets. Monitoring team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets.


  • Appointing result-oriented field force and appointing reputed stockiest
  • Territory mapping and route list
  • Implementing plans given by management
  • Building vertical and horizontal distribution network
  • Generating volume and value business
  • Controlling credit limit at stockiest and super stockiest level and Controlling stock levels at stockiest and super stockiest point
  • Imparting proper infield and classroom training to field force
  • Efficiently managing team and Building team spirit
  • Target driven and self-motivated and should be a good team manager and orient the team towards achieving goals
  • Checking, analyzing and submitting all required reports and Closing sales effectively
  • Should be capable of monitoring reports and should ensure that the entire team achieves the given targets.
  • Should have excellent customer connections and should drive business goals by maintaining good relations with the key outlets and stockiest
  • Demonstrating ability to excel and market feed back to the management

Required Qualification and Skills:

  • Minimum 4 Years sales experience
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Graduate degree
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • The ability to motivate and lead a team
