Monsoon is a season when our body has to fight strongly through several infections and health problems. Senior citizens and children are at the most vulnerable being in such weather. Diarrhoea is the most common ailment during monsoon and it terribly affects the health of children, keeping parents in discomfort and stress. Diarrhoea is a condition in the kids frequently passes watery stools. It is also accompanied by abdominal pain, dehydration, and nausea.

Diarrhoea is common, especially during monsoons due to several factors. Firstly, the increased humidity and constant wet weather create a healthy environment for bacterial and parasite growth.   • Try to include seasonal veggies, fruits, nuts, and seeds in your kid’s regular diet.

  • Use digestive spices such as ginger, garlic, cumin, and pepper in the food in light proportion.
  • Make a habit of drinking purified warm water throughout the season to prevent waterborne infections.
  • Inculcate a healthy habit of proper hand washing after equal intervals and before and after meals.
  • Protect your child from exposure to stagnant water or puddles to prevent infections.
  • Ensure to keep proper hygiene and cleanliness at home including the bathroom and kitchen areas.

  • persistently suffer for more than 24 hours
  • you’ve spotted blood or mucus in the stool
  • there is low urine output due to dehydration
  • lethargy
